JOIN THE SCOTLAND VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT

The Scotland Volunteer Fire Dept. is a community based organization that helps, protects, educates and contributes to our neighborhood, our town, and surrounding towns.

Would YOU like to join with us? You can give to your community, you can meet your neighbors, you too can provide a service.

Not all of us are cut out to be firefighters, but we are so grateful to those that are. It takes a lot of good leadership and people power to make a department run smoothly and efficiently.

We come from all walks of life; white and blue collar workers, professionals and laborers, farmers and homemakers, students and seniors.

We all have something to contribute; fighting fires to passing out coffee, writing grants to sweeping floors, manning the ambulance to washing it’s windows, tracking inventory to helping maintain the apparatus. There are a million ways to help.

Training and necessary equipment is provided by the department.

Membership applications can be picked up at the station on any Monday night. We are located at 47 Brook Road. Or contact any officer. Station phone is 450-1525 x10.
