VOLUNTEER MEMORIAL HALL
Located within the fire complex
as
A TRIBUTE TO ALL TOWN VOLUNTEERS, PAST & PRESENT
| A large capacity hall used by the community for meetings,
educational endeavors, and as voting headquarters for
elections. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well
as two large bathrooms including showers. The hall is
available for townspeople as a retreat in times of trouble
or disaster. |
| The elementary school lunch program works out of the
kitchen on mornings that school is in session. |
The Memorial Hall is
a joint venture of the town and the fire department.
A committee consisting of towns people and department
members is in place to oversee the maintenance and
business of the hall. The First Selectman and the
Fire Dept. President also are ex-officio members of
the committee.
